Vago also known as Ruggy and the Rug Dr came to live with us when I had trouble getting Cherry bred. He was owned by my friend Karin in Canada, she said bring him down he can stay till she goes into season so as soon as he got here all my girls went in early wouldn’t you know. Vago being silly didn’t want anyone watching he’d peek in the windows to see if I was watching him when he was out with Cherry if so he wasn’t interested in her, he wouldn’t let us help so in the end she did not get pregnant that time either. He ended up staying until her next season and by then he knew us well enough to let us help!
9 weeks later we had 8 pups and by now we really were becoming attached to Vago so I asked Karin if he could stay; I’d let her have the pick male out of the litter and she said yes. Vago was a true gentle giant one of the sweetest sammy males I have ever known.
